Bus travel in Spain

Spanish long-distance buses are one of the most economical ways to travel throughout Spain. The buses are usually quite comfortable and clean, and the stations are often conveniently located in or near the city center.

For the real budget traveler, overnight buses can be a great way to travel cheaply in Spain. You save money by avoiding the cost of a hotel or hostel for the night, and you also gain extra time for sightseeing at your destination and/or departure point. The overnight buses in Spain have normal seats, so sleeping on a bus in Spain is similar to sleeping on a plane.
